I was commissioned to provide business photography for a landscape company based in Brighton. The goal was to capture striking, professional images that reflect their craftsmanship, equipment, team, and ongoing projects. These images would be used across their website, marketing materials, and social media.

What We Shot

Here’s what I focused on during the shoot:

• Team & staff portraits — to show the professionals behind the work
• Equipment in use — trucks, machinery, tools, etc.
• Projects in progress & completed — garden transformations, site work
• Lifestyle / environmental shots — staff at work on site, interacting with clients
• Details & context — plants, textures, materials, features

The aim was to blend editorial style with commercial appeal — clean, polished, yet authentic to their brand.

Challenges & Highlights

While working on location, there were a few challenges and interesting elements:

• Lighting outdoors & indoors: balancing natural light and fill flash in green spaces
• Weather / environment: sometimes overcast or bright conditions to manage
• Movement & action: capturing workers in motion, equipment in use
• Consistency: ensuring styling, framing, and editing across images matched brand tone
  

One of my highlights was capturing a garden transformation “before and after” sequence which really helped the client visually demonstrate the value of their work.
